Dear Mom, Dad & Family,
I sure sounds like you had a good time fishing last Memorial Day. We, Elders Collings, Teuscher, Dulaney and I set up a booth just outside of the cemetery last Monday that explained the plan of salvation. It went really god. We got one referral by having it. It was also a beautiful day here and hot! It must have been in the 60's.
Last Sat. we had a baptism, his name is Mike Mitchell. Elder Collings confirmed him a mmber of the church and on Sunday I ordained him to the Aaronic Priesthood. It was a real neat experience, I had never don anything like that before.
It has been raining for the past couple days and finally let up for our p-day. We went out on the air force base with Elder Teuscher and Dulaney. The base is a really big area, there is lakes and forests all over.
It is so green now after the rain, it was also good to get out of the city for awhile.
I sure hope Grandpa gets to feeling better, I sure do love him and all my grandparents. Would you tell them I send my love?
Boy am I glad I'm in Alaska and away from Shalene driving! (just kidding) I'm sure you will do fine.
Now as for Lorin, I could have wooped you out fishing! I think it's neat, that someone got you working, finally! Is Wayne your forman? Keep up the good work, your alright.
