Fairbanks October 7, 1982

Dear Family,
Well this fall weather finally got to me, last P-day I spent a couple hours drawing a mule buck. It was great! I had time to reflect on some of the hunting experiences that we have had, plus I finally got a chance to draw something.
I'm not to sure if fall weather was the way to describe it because last week it snowed here. It was funny, Elder Kroneburger, since the first of September has been saying that it will not snow in September because someone in the ward said he hasn't sen a year go by without it snowing in Sept. Well he almost made it, on the 30th it snowed!
The work is going great! The Lord is really blessing us, we have 4 people scheduled for baptism now. 2 will hopefully be baptized next Sunday but no telling what will happen between now and Sunday.
We have been working real hard trying to get people ready for baptism but those darn habits kep getting in the road.
Well, I really love and appreciate all that you are doing for me.
I love you!
Elder Daren Wilding
p.s. Tell Vivian that I will write her and tell her how great those cookies were!
