Dear Family,
We just had another Zone Conference and boy it really picks up a guy. Not just associating with other elders but also seeing Pres. and Sis. Papa, they are very special people.
Just before we left the apartment Elder Cox asked me if I still wanted to get a picture of a moose. I said, "Yes, why?" so he told me to step outside and a young bull moose was feeding right by our porch. We both got our cameras and got as close as we could. Once he let us know we were getting too close by grunting at us. We got some beautiful shots and I'm excited to see them.
The Zone Conference didn't pick me up from a depressed state because there is no way I could be down with the success the Lord is blessing us with. The sisters had tracted this whole area out and got nothing but when a couple great elders like us get into an area things happen!
We went out tracting and got several call backs and taught a discussion! Plus the elders in 1st ward had a contact who is about ready for baptism, so we already have been blessed here.
Elder Cox and I are getting along really well. He is like most Idaho boys . . . great!
I sure hope things are going ok and thanks for the checks. This month isn't going to be as good as the time I spent in the Bush. I have already spent more money than I did any month in the bush. The reason being, that I have car, rent and gasoline on top of food now. I guess next month I will have to pace myself better. But don't worry, I'm doing my best to keep it down. I love you! Daren
