Hey everyone!
Boy this past week it has been acting more like the artict, the temp has been down between -2-' nad -35' and sometimes with the wind chill it got down to -50' to -60'.
I guess that isn't too bad because Elder Kroneberger called me from Fairbanks and said it was -60' without the winds. (Fairbanks never gets wind anyhow)
I found another use for that hairdryer, this morning we woke up and found that our pipes were frozen. So we got busy and started heating pipes, luckily none of them broke and we did get them thawed. We are so spoiled up here, instead of having a trailer or apartment, we have a big 3 bedroom home. It used to be the house that the members held their meetings in but now they have a new church and the missionaries get the house!
So Mark got him a scout?!! That's great! It sure does sound like dad because I know how much he loves his scout.
Remember I told you I would be getting a discount because I didn't have a car? Well I am getting that discount but the mission fees went up from $230 to $252 so I will still be paying the $230, but when I go to an area with a car I will be back to $252.
Well I'm finally getting things together here in Kotzebue and getting to know my way around.
