Dear Family,
You'll never guess what happened to me . . . last Saturday they had dog sled races, so we each got our cameras and went to play tourist for a day. I was just about to the end of a roll that I had been shooting on for two months so I got some beautiful pictures of the dog sleds and the races. When i came to the end of the roll, I pulled too hard and broke the film. I was soooo frustrated but I kept my cool because I knew I could get most of those shots again.
We have been opening up the church twice a week for all the kids in town and now we are starting to get a pretty good sized crowd. We have plenty of opportunity then to get to meet people and get to know them.
Dolly Hawley has been pulling away from the church, I think that the peer pressure has been getting to her and that she needs another spiritual boost. She is a neat lady and I hope that we can stay with her and get her to become a member. That is what we need, more Eskimo members.
It has finally warmed up some and is now snowing again. We hit a balmy 20' wtih other day and with the sun 'climbing higher and higher' the temp I'm sure pretty soon will be doing the same.
Well, I hope everyone is fine and doing well. Take care, I love you, Daren
ps Don't make fun of my envelope!! They were just laying around so I thought I would use them.
