Dear Family,
So how is it going, Muscle Man?!! (haha) I just got a paper clipping that showed Lorin just after a match and he is still the same shrimp he was when I left. Boy you better start lifting those weights to get caught up with me. (haha)
I sure wish I could have been there to see Shalene and her play, it sounds like you did a super job!
Tom and John I haven't heard from you in awhile. What are you up to? No good?
Last but not least, Mom and Dad. I always hear from Mom, but what are you doing Dad? Are you 'working hard" or "hardly working"?
Well I finally thought we were going to have spring here with the temp up to 25' but today it is back down again with a wind chill of -30'.
Here are a couple pictures that I have collected and were just laying around so I thought I would send them home. The three big pictures are Elder Kroneberger and I in Fairbanks with Andy Coping (the short one) and Christ Hayden (the tall one). The other is from Nome, that is Elder Morrison and I with Pat Haum and Sue Greenly. They were the greatest! I think out of all my areas Nome has been the best. Sue and Pat were some of them that made it that way. They aren't members but I sure wished they were!
Things are really starting to drag here. We are only teaching a couple times this week and those that looked really good are starting to fade in the background. Dolly for example, is getting harder and harder to set up appointments with. She hasn't come to church for the past three weeks.
I guess a mission is like they tole me with ups and downs. But with the help of the members and the Lord things will, I'm sure, pick up.
We held a fast last Sunday for our work so it is only a matter of time now until things happen.
Well, take care, I love you all! Daren
